DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's soccer team defeated the Bowling Green Falcons 6-0 on Wednesday night at Baujan Field.
This was the first time that the Flyers had scored six or more goals since November 2, 2008 at St. Joseph's (W, 7-1).
KEY STATS• The Flyers were outshot 9-6 in the first half, despite having a 2-0 lead. They finished with 17 shots compared to the Falcons' 15 attempts.
• Bowling Green had 10 corner kicks compared to the Dayton's two. The Falcons had nine of those in the first half alone.
• The home team had two shots on goal in the first half with both of them finding the back of the net. In the second half, they put six more on seven more on target.

Maik Schoonderwoerd led Dayton with three shots in the first half. He finished with five on the game, three of which were on goal.
