#UDWSOC OPENS A-10 CONFERENCE PLAY AT SAINT LOUIS

Flyers Have An 8-2-1 All-Time Record Vs. The Billikens

The University of Dayton women's soccer team (2-7-0, 0-0-0 A-10) opens Atlantic 10 Conference play at Saint Louis (6-3-0, 0-0-0 A-10) in both teams' league opener this Thursday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET at Hermann Stadium.

THE SERIES
• The Flyers own an 8-2-1 advantage in the all-time series vs. the Billikens.
• Dayton is unbeaten vs SLU in the last nine meetings.
• UD is 2-0 when playing Saint Louis at Hermann Field.
• Last year the Flyers defeated the Billikens 3-2 in overtime at Baujan Field on Oct. 4, 2014.

TERRIFIC TUCKER
Mike Tucker is in his 21st season as head coach of the Flyers in 2015. He has an overall record of 296-112-29.
• His astounding career conference mark of 155-29-10 is an A-10 record .825 winning percentage.

CAMPBELL'S CLIMB
• Senior Ashley Campbell is third on UD's all time scoring list with 50 career goals (two goals away from second and eight to tie for first).
• Her game-winning goal vs. UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 20) was the 50th of Campbell's career. She became just the third Flyer to score 50 goals.
• With her four points in UD's 5-2 win over Rice on Sept. 11, Campbell moved up to second all-time at Dayton for career points. She currently has 118; UD's all-time career leader is Colleen Williams with 166 points.
• Campbell scored 18 goals during the 2013 season, which is tied for fourth best at UD for a single season.

NEW KID IN GOAL
• True freshman Kaelyn Johns has started every match in goal for the Flyers.
• She has amassed 33 saves in seven matches.

WATERS CAN ASSIST YOU
• Senior Nicole Waters was fourth, nationally, in assists (18) in 2014 and led the nation with 17 assists in 2013.
• Waters holds the UD single-season assists record with 18.
• Her 41 career assists rank third on UD's all-time Top 10 list (two from second place and nine from tying for the lead).

FLYER SUCCESS
• The Dayton women's soccer program owns an overall record of 420-179-46 since it became a varsity program in 1984.
• The Flyers made NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014, advancing to the second round in both 2009 and 2010 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001.
