Box Score DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis squad rolled in its home opener on Sunday afternoon, defeating Wright State University 6-1 at the Five Seasons Sports Park.
Dayton got the ball rolling with two quick wins in the doubles game behind top pairing
Carsten Fisher and
Zach Berry's 6-2 win and freshman duo
Jordan Benjamin and
Lorenzo Rollhauser's 6-3 victory.
Singles followed much of the same fashion, with the top four for the Flyers cruising to wins, as well as number six man
Andy Druffel turning in a 6-2, 6-0 rout.
NEXT UPOn Wednesday morning the Flyers travel east to Columbus to take on #10 Ohio State at 10:30 a.m.
