Box Score DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis squad put together a dominant performance against IUPUI on Saturday afternoon, disposing of the Jaguars 6-1 at the Five Seasons Sports Park.
After losing the doubles point, Dayton came out strong in the singles segment and dominated the visiting Jaguars.
Jordan Benjamin and
Carsten Fisher took victory in one and two singles respectively, while
Bernardo Sanson and
Lorenzo Rollhauser followed suit at the three and four. Rounding out the wins for UD was
Simon Jayaram and
Andy Druffel at five and six.
Dayton's lone win in doubles came from the freshman pairing of Benjamin and Rollhauser.
UP NEXTThe Flyers return to the court on Friday Feb. 5 when they welcome the Butler Bulldogs to the Gem City for a 5 p.m. start time. They'll then hit the road for a tough match up against #55 Kentucky on Saturday Feb. 6.
