DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's soccer team fell 1-0 to VCU Sunday at Baujan Field in Atlantic 10 action. The Flyers drop to 5-7-1 overall and 1-2-1 in A-10; the Rams improve to 4-6-2 and 2-2-0 in the conference.
STATS OF THE MATCH
• Dayton outshot VCU 19-5, including 11-2 on goal.
Libby Leedom led the Flyers with six shots, including four on goal.
• Rams goalkeeper Audrey Sanderson made nine saves and VCU also had two defensive team saves by Amanda Hallesjo in the 20
th minute and Tori Burress in the 80
th minute.
• It was Dayton's senior day; the five seniors were honored prior to the match:

Libby Leedom and

• This was also the Flyers' Pink Game, their pink jerseys being auctioned off for the Pink Ribbon Girls.Â
VCU GOAL
• 47th minute – Midfielder Maddi Santo sent a cross from the far side of the field into the six-yard box where a VCU forward left the ball go through to teammate Kelly Graves, where she was able to hit towards the right side of the net, scoring her second goal on the season (VCU 1, Dayton 0).
