DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team will close out the regular season at home this weekend starting with a 7 p.m. match-up against Davidson Friday night. The Flyers have already clinched at least a share of the 2016 A-10 Regular Season title and will own the out-right title with a win Friday night.

Scouting Davidson
Davidson (10-16, 5-7 A-10) closed out the home portion of its 2016 season with a 3-2 loss to VCU on Senior Day. Currently sixth in league standings, the Wildcats are battling this weekend to hold on to a A-10 Championship berth. Davidson is led by Kelly Friers with 2.49 kills/set and Elise Edman is the team's leading passer with 3.66 digs/set (7th A-10).
Series Stuff
Dayton holds the 4-0 advantage in the series against Davidson, including a 3-0 in Davidson, N.C., on Oct. 16.

In the NCAA's most recent Rating Percentage Index (RPI) posted Monday, Nov. 7, Dayton came in at 32 according to NCAA.com. Davidson is ranked 234th.

His record at Dayton is 211-56 and his career win-loss mark sits at 387-220 in 18 seasons as a head coach. Horsmon is the program's second-winningest coach behind only R.
