COLUMBUS, Ohio –  The University of Dayton women's soccer team fell 3-2 to Ohio State in the First Round of the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship Saturday night at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
STATS OF THE MATCH

Alexis Kiehl scored the equalizer with 21 seconds left until halftime.
Libby Leedom hit a through ball, Kiehl beat her defender and slotted the ball under the keeper. (Dayton 1, Ohio State 1).
• 56th minute – Leedom scored her 10th goal of the season on the feed from Kiehl. (Dayton 2, Ohio State 1).
OHIO STATE GOALS
• 14th minute –Sammy Edwards struck a ball from 20 yards out at the top of the box. It's the first goal the Flyers have given up in more than 340 minutes. (Dayton 0, Ohio State 1).
• 56th minute – Nikki Walts scored exactly 30 seconds after the Flyers took a 2-1 lead, hitting the inside of the post and into the net. Lindsay Agnew had the assist (Dayton 2, Ohio State 2).
• 86th minute – Nikki Walts scored on a free kick from 18 yards out for the eventual game winner (Dayton 2, Ohio State 3).
The Flyers finish the season 9-10-3 overall. OSU improved to 11-6-3 overall. The Buckeyes advance to the NCAA Second Round to face No.1 West Virginia.Â
