#UDWBB AT GEORGE WASHINGTON SUNDAY IN A-10 TILT

Game to be Broadcast on ESPNU at 12 p.m. Feb. 14

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's basketball team is heading to the nation's capital this weekend to square off against George Washington Sunday afternoon. The Flyers and Colonials are set to tip off at noon Feb. 14 at GW's Smith Center. The game will be televised on ESPNU and will be available via stream on WatchESPN.com.

About the Flyers
Dayton (13-9, 6-5 A-10), currently enjoying a five-game winning streak, is looking to avenge its one-point, 62-61 loss to George Washington on Jan. 10 in Dayton. The Flyers have three active players averaging double-figures scoring, led by junior Saicha Grant-Allen with 11.2 ppg. who also leads the team with 8.5 rpg. (5th A-10). Sophomore Jenna Burdette dishes out a team-best 4.2 apg. (5th A-10) and senior Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova leads the league with 3.6 bpg.

Scouting George Washington
George Washington (20-4, 10-1 A-10) has won 15 of its last 16 games and reached the 20-win mark for the third-consecutive year after defeating Richmond, 62-47, on Feb. 7. The Colonials are led by senior Jonquel Jones, who has been out of the lineup for the last five games. Jones averages 16.9 ppg. (2nd A-10) and 14.8 rpg. (1st A-10) while Lauren Chase dishes out 6.2 apg. (4th A-10) and records 1.5 spg.

Last Time Out
Sophomore Jenna Burdette sank six of her nine three-point field-goal attempts Wednesday night on her way to a career-high 23 points to lead Dayton in an 81-58 win over George Mason. Senior Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova was working on a triple-double with 12 points, a career-high 13 rebounds and eight blocks while junior Saicha Grant-Allen added 17 points and tallied nine rebounds.

The Series
George Washington has won 29 of the 37 meetings between the two squads, including all three meetings during the 2014-15 season and a 62-61 win over Dayton on Jan. 10. The last time the Flyers won in D.C. was Jan. 28, 2012, a 74-56 victory over the Colonials.

Flyers in League Play
Dayton has won 60 of its last 71 regular season Atlantic 10 games (.845), a streak that dates back to a 97-46 win over Rhode Island on Jan. 7, 2012, and includes a perfect 14-0 mark in conference play during the 2012-13 season.

We'll Take the Free Ones
As a team the Flyers shot 76.4 percent from the free throw line in 2013-14, the BEST team free throw percentage in Dayton history. The Flyers are once again shooting well from the line this season, currently coming in at 73.8 percent (the program's third-best free-throw percentage) which ranks third in the Atlantic 10.

You're Invited to a Block Party
The team's blocks leader for the past four seasons, senior Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova averages 2.27 blocks/game for her career which ranks 15th among all Division I active players while her career total of 263 blocks ranks eighth nationally among all DI actives. With five blocks at Duquesne on Jan. 3, Cornélie-Sigmundová's career blocks total ranks her FIRST in Dayton program history - surpassing the previous record holder, Michele Kruty (220; 1984-88), and breaking a program record that stood for 28 seasons. Her career-high nine blocks against VCU on Jan. 13 is the second-most blocks in one game all-time by a Flyer.

Burdette in the A-10
Averaging a team-best 4.2 assists/game, sophomore Jenna Burdette ranks fifth in the Atlantic 10. She can also be found in several other categories ranked among the best in the league: fourth with a .397 three-point field-goal percentage, 11th with a 1.2 assist/turnover ratio, 13th with 1.4 three-point field-goals made/game, 14th with a .765 free-throw percentage and 29th with 10.9 ppg.

70'S the Magic Number
Since the 2009-10 season, Dayton is 120-12 (.909) when scoring 70 or more points, including 24-2 in 2014-15. During the 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, the Flyers only lost one game per season when scoring at least 70 points, and dropped only two games in 2009-10 when reaching that mark.

Three Points of Excellence
Dayton has hit at least one three-point shot in 470 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation. The Flyers made a program-record 15 three-point field goals against Buffalo in the Connecticut World Vision Classic on Nov. 25, 2011. Dayton tied the record with 15 vs. Wright State on Nov. 28, 2012.

Speaking of Threes ...
Cincinnati native freshman Lauren Cannatelli has made a team-best 47 three-point baskets this season which is currently tied for first all-time among Flyer freshmen. Former Flyer Justine Raterman sank 47 three-pointers her first year on the team (2008-09). Cannatelli's 36.2 three-point field-goal percentage (47-130) is the fifth-best average by a UD freshman.

You Look Familiar ...
Senior Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova has seen action in 116 career games as a Flyer - missing only three games her first season on the squad. Since she joined the team prior to the 2012-13 season, the Flyers have an 92-27 (.773) mark with Cornélie-Sigmundová on the roster.

First Half Success = Second Half Victory
Dayton is 10-3 this season when leading at halftime. The Flyers are 3-6 when either trailing at the half or tied at halftime.
