HARMAR, Pa. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team fell in the Atlantic 10 opener against Duquesne on Friday afternoon at Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh, snapping a five-game winning streak for the Flyers.
The Dukes swept through the doubles portion of the match, but
Mattea Kilstofte and
Jackie Kawamoto brought Dayton back with wins at four and five singles respectively.
Unfortunately for the Flyers, those were the only two wins they would manage, as DU edged out the rest of the singles matches.
UP NEXTDayton has little time to dwell on the loss, as they return to action on Saturday, Feb. 13 when they take on another conference foe in George Mason in Pittsburgh.
