GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Dayton baseball team gave up some late runs and dropped a 9-3 decision to Furman.

The Flyers (0-5) faced the Paladins in the second game of the weekend series.

• Top of 5^th – Robbie Doring led off the inning with a solo home run to left center, his first of the season. Nick Ryan followed with an RBI double to left, doubling UD's lead. Dayton 2, Furman 0
