Box Score DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis team won its eighth match in a row with a sweep of Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's on Friday night at Five Seasons Sports Park.
Carsten Fisher and
Zach Berry took the No. 1 doubles match with a 6-4 win, while
Jordan Benjamin and
Lorenzo Rollhauser rolled to a 6-1 win at No. 2.
Dayton continued its roll on the singles side, as Benjamin took a convincing 6-1, 6-2 win at the No. 1 spot. Fisher added a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 2, while Berry secured the win at No. 3 with a 6-4, 6-0 victory. Sanson won at the No. 4 spot 6-4, 6-4, while Jayaram took the No. 5 match 6-4, 6-1. Rollhauser rounded out the victory with an exciting 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 win at No. 6.
The Flyers improve their record to 12-3 on the season and are now 4-0 in A-10 play.
UP NEXTUD returns to action on Friday, March 18 when they play host to Northern Kentucky at 4:00 p.m. at the Five Seasons Sports Park.
