CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team started its trip to North Carolina in sour fashion on Thursday afternoon, getting swept by Charlotte 4-0 at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
The 49ers jumped ahead by taking the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3, and then downed the Flyers in singles as well, taking wins No. 1, 5 and 6.
UP NEXT
Dayton's record moves to 11-7 on the season, but the Flyers will have another chance in the Tar Heel state as they take on Atlantic 10 foe Davidson on Friday, March 25.
