DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton Flyers continued their Atlantic 10 success Wednesday afternoon, taking both games of the doubleheader against Saint Louis at UD Softball Stadium.
The games were tightly contested, with the Flyers winning each by a one run margin. The Flyers took Game One by a score of 1-0, and battled back to take Game Two by a final score of 2-1.

Manda Cash struck out 11 and didn't allow a run in the complete game effort. The southpaw only surrendered two hits and lowered her season ERA to 1.73.
The 11 strikeout performance is the most for Cash in a seven-inning game (struck out 12 in 11 innings against Saint Joe's on March 25).
All four of the Flyers hits came from Haynes and junior
Hannah DeSalvo, who had two apiece.
Game Two – Dayton 2, Saint Louis 1Scoring BreakdownTop 1st – Saint Louis jumped ahead early thanks to a home run to take a 1-0 lead.
Bottom 1st – Dayton countered by manufacturing a run of their own in the home half of the inning. After a double by junior

Krista Gustafson drove Snyder home with a single to knot the game at 1-1.
Bottom 5th – Sophomore
Kayla Haberstich broke the tie in a big way, launching a monstrous home run to left-center field to put the Flyers up for good at 2-1.
Key StatsAll four of Dayton's pitchers saw time in the game, with Snyder picking up her fifth win of the campaign. She tossed the final three innings and struck out five, allowing just one base hit.
Snyder also finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and now only needs nine more two-baggers to break the Dayton softball record.
The home run from Haberstich not only gave the Flyers the win, but it was also the first of the sophomore's UD career.
Dayton pitching held Saint Louis to just one run and five hits over the two games, striking out a total of 17 Billikens.
