DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's tennis team defeated Saint Francis University 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at Five Seasons Sports Park for its 14th win of the season.
After SFU jumped ahead by winning the doubles point, UD came out firing in the singles matches.
Mattea Kilstofte was victorious at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-3,
Jackie Kawamoto won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 3,
Jade Kawamoto cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4, and
Mandy Marchant wrapped up the victory with a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 5.
UP NEXTDayton returns to action at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 against the University of Cincinnati at Five Seasons Sports Park.
