BRONX, N.Y. – The University of Dayton baseball team suffered a 4-2 loss in game one of the series Thursday before falling in the second game, 8-2.
The Flyers (18-36, 7-16 A-10) were unable to keep up with the Rams (28-26, 14-9 A-10) in either contest.
GAME 1 – Dayton 2, Fordham 4
SCORING BREAKDOWN
- Bottom of 2nd – Fordham struck first with an RBI triple to right-center and an RBI groundout. Dayton 0, Fordham 2
- Top of 3rd – Dayton evened the score with two unearned runs on a Fordham error. Dayton 2, Fordham 2
