CINCINNATI - The University of Dayton women's soccer team (0-1-0) lost its regular season opener 2-1 in double overtime to Cincinnati (1-0-0) Friday night at Gettler Stadium.

STATS OF THE MATCH
• The Bearcats' Julie Gavorski scored the game winner with just 11 seconds remaining in the match. 
• The shots were even 15-15 in the match but the Bearcats had four shots in the second overtime. 
• Dayton had seven cornerkicks to UC's three.

DAYTON GOALS
• 72nd minute – Alexis Kiehl scored on a header after a volley from Keagin Collie (Dayton 1, Cincinnati 1). Moments later Libby Leedom nearly scored the go-ahead goal but her shot was just off the mark, hitting the cross bar.

CINCINNATI GOALS
• 12th minute – Gabrielle Cin Lopresti scored on a penalty kick. (Cincinnati 1, Dayton 0)
• 120th minute – Julie Gavorski blasted a shot from 25 yards out with just 14 seconds to play in the match. (Cincinnati 2, Dayton 1)
