The University of Dayton women's soccer team (0-2-0, 0-0-0 A-10) hosts Bucknell (2-0-0) in its home opener this Friday, Aug. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. The match will be streamed for free on DaytonFlyers.com. Nina DiGuardi Vasiliu and Jeremy Lance will have the call.

• Dayton's leading returning goal scorer is junior
Alexis Kiehl (8 goals), who was named to the 2016 A-10 Preseason Team. She was a First Team All-Atlantic 10 forward in 2015 and a second team selection in 2014 as a freshman.

Kaelyn Johns started every game in goal as a true freshman last year. She finished her rookie campaign with 79 saves and a 1.65 GAA.
SCOUTING BUCKNELL
• The Bison are 2-0-0 to start the season with a 3-1 win over Monmouth and a 1-0 win over St. Francis (Pa.).
• Bucknell finished second in the Patriot League, behind Boston, in 2015.
• The Bison return Patriot League All-Conference First Teamer Kendall Ham.
SCOUTING KENT STATE
• Kent State is 1-1-0 going into the weekend, with a 3-0 loss to No. 23 Ohio State and a 3-0 win over Canisius.

• For the eighth consecutive year, the Dayton women's soccer team has been chosen as the 2016 Atlantic 10 Conference preseason favorite in a vote conducted by the league's 14 head coaches. The Flyers earned 185 votes and eight first place votes to take the top spot in the rankings.
DAYTON'S A-10 BACKGROUND
• Dayton has won the A-10 Tournament Championship more than any other team in the conference: nine times (1996, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014).
• UD has also won or shared 11 Atlantic 10 Regular Season titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2013). The next closest is Massachusetts with five.

Mike Tucker is in his 22nd season at UD and has amassed an overall record of 304-116-30 overall and 163-31-11 vs. A-10 opponents.
• The legendary coach announced he will retire following the 2016 season.
• UD's 3-1 win over Fordham on Oct. 18, 2015 at Baujan Field marked the 300th career victory for Coach
Mike Tucker. He is one of just 17 active coaches to have won 300 matches in NCAA Division I Women's Soccer.
