#UDWSOC SHUTS OUT PURDUE 3-0

Libby Leedom Scored Two Goals; Kaelyn Johns Had a Career-High Eight Saves

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer team (1-4-0) picked up its first win of the 2016 season with a 3-0 victory over visiting Purdue (2-4-0) Sunday at Baujan Field. The Boilermakers were coming off a 2-0 loss to No.4 West Virginia Thursday.

STATS OF THE MATCH
• Flyer freshman Micayla Livingston earned her first collegiate start and scored her first career goal, the eventual game winner.
• UD senior Libby Leedom scored two goals, a career-high for her, and it was her first two goals of the season.
• Dayton's sophomore goalkeeper Kaelyn Johns recorded a career-high eight saves. This is her first shutout this season and third in her career.
• Sidney LeRoy had two assists, her first career multi-assist game.
• This marks the first match of the season that the Flyers scored the first goal.

DAYTON GOALS
• 6th minute – Alexis Kiehl flicked on LeRoy's free kick and Livingston one-timed it to the back of the net. (Dayton 1, Purdue 0)
• 16th minute – Leedom headed LeRoy's free kick to the side netting. (Dayton 2, Purdue 0)
• 87th minute – Leedom dribbled past multiple defenders and then beat the keeper low. (Dayton 3, Purdue 0)
