DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team (7-8-2, 2-4-2 A-10) continues Atlantic 10 action this week with a home match vs. Richmond and closes out the regular season at Massachusetts. UD hosts Richmond (2-12-1, 2-5-1 A-10) this Thursday, Oct. 19 at Baujan Field at 7 p.m. ET.
• Dayton will then play at UMass on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. ET at Rudd Field.

THE SERIES
• Dayton is 10-3-1 all-time vs. Richmond and the Flyers are 4-0-1 when playing the Spiders at home. The last meeting was Oct. 25, 2014 at Richmond, Va. and resulted in a 4-3 double overtime win for UD.
Alexis Kiehl had an assist on UD's first goal in that match.
• Dayton is 18-4-0 all-time vs. Massachusetts. The Flyers are 6-2-0 all-time when playing at UMass. The last meeting was Oct. 30, 2016 when the Flyers defeated the Minutewomen 3-1 at Baujan Field in the 2016 regular season finale, earning a berth in the A-10 Tournament as the No. 7 seed, and eventually going on to win it all.

Alexis Kiehl recently moved up to fifth all-time at Dayton in goals scored with 42. She passed Lori Davis '88-91. She is three goals from tying Missy Gregg '99-00 in fourth with 45 goals.

Kaelyn Johns has started every game in goal and has 88 saves, second-best in the A-10. She has seven shutouts, which is third-best in the A-10. Johns has 14 career shutouts, fourth all-time at UD. She needs four to move up to third.

Nadia Pestell is tied for seventh in the A-10 in assists with five.

Eric Golz is in his first season at the helm of the Flyers. He previously served as an assistant at UD in 2011.
SCOUTING RICHMOND
• Richmond is 2-12-1 overall and 2-5-1 in A-10 matches. The Spiders are currently 11th in the Atlantic 10 standings. Richmond's conference wins have come against Rhode Island (2-1) and Fordham (1-0 in double overtime), and the Spiders tied St. Bonaventure, 1-1.
• Richmond has scored just eight goals this season, and been scored on 27 times.
• Sophomore Brooke Beam, senior Lexi Prillaman, and sophomore Alyssa Walker have each scored two goals. Prillaman, Walker, and senior Olivia Aha lead the Spiders in assists with two each.
• Freshman Olivia Sjodin and senior Katie Brennan have split time in goal. Sjodin has played six matches and 425:30 minutes, and has 26 saves with a .85 GAA. Brennan has played in 12 matches (996:40) with 71 saves and a 2.08 GAA.
SCOUTING MASSACHUSETTS
• Massachusetts is 7-7-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the A-10. The Minutewomen are currently seventh in the A-10 standings.
• UMass is coming off a 2-0 win over Duquesne on Oct. 15, but fell 3-1 at George Mason.
• 11 different players have scored for UMass, led by junior Erin Doster's seven goals.
• Freshman Jenny Hipp leads the Minutewomen in assists with five. Sophomore Sini Laaksonen is close behind with four assists.
• Senior Cassidy Babin has seen most of the action in goal for UMass with 16 games and 1,447:20 minutes played. She has 83 saves and a 1.49 GAA.
UP NEXT
• The Atlantic 10 Tournament will feature a new format this season with the top four teams hosting first round games on their campus sites Oct. 28-29. The semifinals and championship rounds will be played in Richmond, Va. at VCU's Sports Backers Stadium Nov. 3-5.
