ST. LOUIS, Mo.  – The University of Dayton men's soccer team scored all four of its goals in the first half in the 4-0 win at Saint Louis University Wednesday night.
The Flyers (7-6-2, 4-1-0 A-10) had their best performance on the road this season while the Billikens (4-7-1, 2-3-0 A-10) continue their A-10 struggles.
KEY STATS
- Dayton had 17 shots, eight on target in the contest.
- In the first half, the Flyers scored three goals in 1:27.
- UD out-shot SLU 12-2 in the first 45 minutes and had a 6-0 shots on goal advantage.
- It was tied for the biggest scoring margin for the Billikens, matching their 4-0 loss at VCU this season.
- Senior Alvaro Navarro not only had a pair of goals in the game, but also led the Flyers with five shots, all on target.
- Senior goalkeeper Justin Saliba made his second consecutive start and earned his first shutout of the season.
- SLU committed 16 fouls in the game while Dayton had 10.
- The Flyers have won the last two contests at Saint Louis (2017 and 2015).

"This was a good win for the team. We have struggled on the road and it was critical for us to score first. The strength of this team is when we have multiple players contribute and tonight we accomplished that. There is always a special meaning with this game being that it is my home town. I thought we played a very smart and controlled game which resulted in a shutout."
