TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's basketball team suffered a 68-50 loss at the University of Toledo Wednesday at Savage Arena.

The Flyers (4-1) suffered their first loss of the season while the Rockets (3-1) improve to 3-0 at home.

GAME BREAKDOWN
1st Quarter: Dayton 8, Toledo 16
- The game started off with both teams struggling to get things going offensively as Toledo shot 28.6% from the floor over the first five minutes while Dayton shot 22.2%.
- By the first media timeout, it was just 4-4.
- After the break, both teams scored within the first 40 seconds to open the game back up.
- Toledo hit two three-pointers in the last 50 seconds to extend its lead to eight.
- The Flyers out-rebounded the Rockets 13-6 in the first 10 minutes.

3rd Quarter: Dayton 33, Toledo 50
- Dayton had a couple of early buckets by Harris and Burdette to cut into the margin.
- At the media break, the Flyers trailed 43-25, but matched the Rockets with seven points up to that point in the third.
- After hitting just three shots in the first and second quarters, UD already had three made baskets halfway through the third.
- Dayton and Toledo both scored 13 points in the quarter.

4th Quarter: Dayton 50, Toledo 68
- Toledo struck first in the fourth with a big three that gave the hosts momentum to start, but baskets by sophomore Jayla Scaife and Burdette stopped the run.
- By the media break, UD was down 22, 65-43.
- Burdette reached the 19 point mark, a game-high up to that point.
