SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The University of Dayton softball team split its games Saturday at the Upstate Classic, defeating Canisius, 8-1, and falling to host USC Upstate, 6-0.
Dayton moves to 8-6 on the season while Canisius is now an even 6-6 and USC Upstate improved to 18-3 for the year.
