DORING'S GRAND SLAM LIFTS #UDBASE OVER UMASS, 5-2

Top 4th
- Dayton evened the score at 1-1 when redshirt freshman Brandon Smith hit an opposite field, solo home run, his eighth of the season.

Top 8th
- The Flyers busted the scoring open late in the game, as UD loaded the bases thanks to a single, hit-by-pitch, and a walk, and then Robbie Doring emptied the bases with a grand slam home run to put Dayton up 5-1.

Bottom 9th
- The Minutemen scored a run on a wild pitch to bring the game to its final of 5-2.
