AMHERST, Mass. – Senior
Robbie Doring launched his first career grand slam in the eighth inning of Friday's matchup against Massachusetts, lifting Dayton to a 5-2 win over the Minutemen from Earl Lorden Field.

KEY STATS
- For Doring, the eighth inning grand slam was his second homer of the season and brings his RBI total to 17.
- It was the first grand slam for the Grafton, Wis., native in his career.

Kevin Piersol, his six innings of one-run ball marked his best performance of the season. The Albuquerque, N.M., native allowed only five hits while striking out six and walking only one.

Tyler Henry threw the final three innings and picked up the win for the Flyers, improving to 3-1 on the season.
