COACH GOLZ'S QUOTE
We knew tonight was going to be a tough match, and it didn't disappoint. While we certainly wanted to take three points home with us, it is critical that we get points on the road in conference play, so we were pleased that we were able to get a point. VCU is a good team and well coached. I thought both teams had opportunities to win the game, both defenses made some fantastic plays to keep it a 0-0 game.
We were happy to get our third shutout in a row, and that speaks to our team defending and KJ had another great night in goal. Overall, I was pleased with our resiliency tonight. Â Now we have to turn our focus to recovering and preparing for another important A-10 match against a good George Mason team.
