COACH GOLZ'S QUOTE
• "We were disappointed with our overall performance and energy today. We knew we were playing a good side in Purdue, and they had an extra day of recovery, so we expected to be under pressure; but our execution was off today. Again today, we were better in the second half and created some chances that we have to finish, but we need to continue to work on putting together a full 90 minutes. KJ was fantastic in goal today, and she has been setting the bar in terms of consistent performance. We look forward to another week of preparation to show that we will be better next weekend."
UP NEXT
• The Flyers continue their three-match road swing, taking on Akron this Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium.
