OXFORD, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team outlasted Miami (Ohio), 3-2 (25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 20-25, 15-8), Tuesday night at the RedHawks' Millett Hall. Junior
Lauren Bruns led all attackers with a career-high 20 kills.
KEY MOMENT
Dayton won the first two sets but Miami was able to tie the matches by taking sets three and four. In the deciding set, UD ran the score to 7-2 to open the frame and never looked back.

This weekend, Dayton will return to Illinois for a three-match outing at the Illinois State Redbird Classic Sept. 8-9. The Flyers will square off against the host Redbirds Friday night at 8 p.m. ET. On Saturday, Dayton is set to take on Cincinnati at 11 a.m. and Seton Hall at 5 p.m.
