The Bearcats' Jordan Thompson, current AVCA National Player of the Week, leads all of NCAA DI with 6.28 kills/set and she serves up 0.34 aces/set.
Series Stuff
There have been 48 meetings in the regional rivalry between Dayton and Cincinnati and the Flyers hold a slim 25-23 margin over the Bearcats. Dayton has won four straight in the series, including a 3-0 win over Cincinnati on Sept. 9, 2017 at Illinois State's Redbird Classic.

Tim Horsmon is in his 10th season overall, and fifth since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2018. His record at Dayton is 254-70 and his career win-loss mark sits at 430-234 in 20 seasons as a head coach. Horsmon is the program's second-winningest coach behind only R. Elaine Dreidame who amassed 310 wins 1970-79.
