DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team dropped a tough 3-2 (25-22, 25-17, 26-28, 22-25, 15-12) decision to visiting Cincinnati Wednesday night at Frericks Center. Senior Lauren Bruns led four Flyers in double-digit kills with 22 and sophomore Brooke Westbeld recorded her fourth triple-double of the season with 12 kills, 35 assists and 11 digs.

Dayton moves to 16-6 on the season while Cincinnati is now 17-4 overall.

KEY STATS
• 20 - senior Margo Wolf got under a match-high 20 digs to lead four Flyers with double-digit digs
• 22-10 - sophomore Bridget Doherty tallied a 22-assist, 10-dig double-double
• .429 - sophomore Olivia Dubay posted a .429 hitting percentage with four kills to one error in seven attempts

Dayton will close out its four-match homestand on Friday as it hosts Saint Louis. The Flyers and Bilikens are set to square off at 7 p.m. on Oct. 19 at Frericks Center. Admission is free.
