RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team clinched a spot in the Atlantic 10 Championship with its 1-0 road win over Richmond tonight. Junior
Jordan Pauley scored the game-winner on a free kick in the 86th minute.Â
Dayton improves to 8-7-2 overall and 4-4-1 in Atlantic 10 action. Richmond falls to 1-15-1 overall and 1-7-1 in the A-10.Â
The top eight teams advance to the A-10 quarterfinals, with the top four hosting. The Flyers are currently eighth in the standings but cannot be caught by any teams below them.

• Dayton outshot Richmond 11-1, including 6-1 on frame. Dayton also held a huge advantage on corner kicks, 9-2.Â
