PITTSBURGH - The University of Dayton volleyball team claimed a 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-21) sweep of Duquesne Friday night at the Dukes' A.J. Palumbo Center.
Dayton improved to 13-5 on the season and 4-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play while Duquesne moved to 6-11 overall and 1-4 in league action.

Brooke Westbeld recorded a 15-assist, 12-dig double-double to go with eight kills and three blocks

Kendyll Brown tallied a match-high seven blocks (1 solo, 6 assisted) to go with her seven kills
• 12 to 4 - Dayton recorded a total of 12 blocks to Duquesne's four
UP NEXT
Dayton will be crossing Pennsylvania Saturday as it travels to Philadelphia to take on La Salle. The Flyers and the Explorers are set to square off at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at La Salle's Tom Gola Arena.
