RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Dayton volleyball team eliminated La Salle, 3-1 (25-20, 25-20, 24-26, 25-22), in the semifinal round of the 2018 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship Saturday evening. Second-seeded UD moves on to square off against top-seeded VCU in the tournament finals Sunday at noon.
Dayton seniors
Kendyll Brown and
Lauren Bruns each tallied 16 kills as the Flyers improve to 22-7 on the season. La Salle closed out 2018 with a program-best record of 18-12.

Brooke Westbeld set 27 assists, passed nine digs and laid down five kills

Margo Wolf passed 20 digs, her sixth 20+ dig performance of the season. She was one of the double-double with nine assists

Dayton will be competing in its fifth-consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship finals match tomorrow, a rematch of last year's final match against top-seeded VCU. The Flyers have now reached the finals match in 15 of the last 16 years and will be competing for the title for the 16th time Sunday. First serve between UD and VCU is set for 12 p.m. Sunday at the Rams' Siegel Center.
