DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team hosts Toledo on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at UD Arena.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton heads into the holiday week with a 1-2 record overall after falling to unbeaten Northeastern and No. 9 Maryland its last two outings. The Flyers do have a home win over Colgate on their resume this season though.
Head coach
Shauna Green is the reigning A-10 Coach of the Year and is in her third season at the helm of the Flyers. With a 47-19 record at Dayton and three conference titles, expectations are high for the program.
As a team, the Flyers are averaging 72.3 points per game, but are allowing 74.7 to opponents. Dayton is shooting 39.8 percent from the floor, 30.9 percent from three, and 68.8 percent from the free throw line.

SCOUTING TOLEDO
Toledo is entering the game with a 2-1 record on the season with wins over Iona and Duquesne and a loss on the road at Maine. The Rockets are 0-1 away from home, but currently riding a two-game winning streak.
Head coach Tricia Cullop is in her 11th year at Toledo and 19th year as a head coach, with over 340 wins on her resume.
Toledo is scoring 69.3 points each contest and holding opponents to 54.3 points per game. The Rockets shoot 48.3 percent overall, 30.4 percent behind the arc, and 70.3 percent from the charity stripe.
Leading Toledo is Kaayla McIntyre, who is averaging 17.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, and Mariella Santucci, who is scoring 10.7 points and dishing out 3.7 assists each game.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton suffered a 84-79 overtime loss at home to Northeastern Saturday, despite a late surge forcing extra time.

Jayla Scaife had a team-high 19 points and nine rebounds.
Toledo defeated A-10 foe Duquesne 65-52 on Sunday after jumping to to a 19-8 advantage in the first quarter. Mariella Santucci had a team-high 19 points and seven rebounds in the game.
THE SERIES
Dayton and Toledo have played 24 times previously with the Flyers winning 13 times and the Rockets winning 11 times. Last season, UDÂ lost on the road at Toledo 68-50 on Thanksgiving Eve.
CANNATELLI MAKES 200TH THREE

Shauna Green was named A-10 Coach of the Year in just her second year in charge. She guided the Flyers to historic seasons already and has a .746 winning percentage in 60 games.

CANNATELLI SETS THREE-POINT MARK

Lauren Cannatelli set her second Dayton school record last season by hitting her 79th three-pointer of the year on Feb. 24 at Saint Louis. The Cincinnati native surpassed former Flyer
Andrea Hoover by making her 79th three-pointer of the campaign, joining her single-game record of 10 made three's from earlier last season.
THREE POINTS OF EXCELLENCE
Dayton has hit at least one three-point shot in 540 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 2, 2001, the longest streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference and one of the top streaks in the nation. The Flyers made a program-record 15 three-point field goals against Buffalo in the Connecticut World Vision Classic on Nov. 25, 2011. Dayton tied the record with 15 vs. Wright State on Nov. 28, 2012.
FLYERS IN REGULAR SEASON LEAGUE PLAY
Dayton has won 89 of its last 108 regular season Atlantic 10 games (.832), a streak that dates back to a 97-46 win over Rhode Island on Jan. 7, 2012, and includes a perfect 14-0 mark in conference play during the 2012-13 season.
70'S THE MAGIC NUMBER
Since the 2009-10 season, Dayton is 147-18 (.903) when scoring 70 or more points, including 11-1 in 2016-17. During the 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, the Flyers only lost one game per season when scoring at least 70 points, and dropped only two games in 2009-10 when reaching that mark.

PRESEASON POLL
Dayton was picked to finish second in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll behind conference favorites Duquesne. With two first-place votes and 183 points, the Flyers were picked ahead of Fordham, George Washington, and Saint Joseph's.
