DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team posted a straight-set win over La Salle, 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-16), Friday night at Frericks Center. Sophomore
Brooke Westbeld tallied her 16th double-double of the season with a team-high 22 assists and a match-high 13 digs.
Dayton improves to 20-7 on the season, the program's 31st 20-win season, and 11-2 in Atlantic 10 action while La Salle is now 17-10 overall and 9-4 in league play.
KEY STATS
• 22 & 13 - with 22 assists and 13 digs, Westbeld posted her 16th double-double of the season. She also tallied eight kills, posted a .412 hitting percentage and tallied two blocks
• 12 - senior
Lauren Bruns had a match-high 12 kills
• 10 - freshman
Alli Papesh tallied 10 kills to one error in 20 attempts for a .450 hitting percentage
• 8.0 - Dayton recorded 8.0 total blocks to La Salle's 1.0

Kendyll Brown blistered the Explorers with her .778 hitting percentage with seven kills to zero errors in nine attempts. She was also a beast on the block with with a match-high five
UP NEXT
Dayton will close out its 2018 regular season on Sunday with a 1 o'clock matinee against Duquesne at Frericks Center. First serve between the Flyers and Dukes is set for 1 p.m. and admission is free. Three senior team members will be recognized prior to the match.
