#UDMTEN Sweeps Double Header On Saturday

Flyers Defeated Northern Kentucky And Cedarville, Both By 7-0 Margins

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DAYTON – The Dayton men's tennis team had a pair of matches on Saturday and they swept both opponents by a 7-0 margin. The Flyers now have an overall record of 11-2 this season and are riding an eight-match win streak.
 
Vs. Northern Kenucky
The Flyers opened with a match against Northern Kentucky at 1 p.m. and started things off with 6-4 wins in all three doubles matchups. Zach Berry/Carsten Fisher played at court one, Lorenzo Rollhauser/Steven Karl teamed up on court two, and Simon Jayaram/Will Harper rounded out the Dayton lineup in doubles.

Carsten Fisher played at the No. 1 spot in the lineup and was one of five Flyers who won their match in straight sets. Zach Berry, Simon Jayaram, Steven Karl and Lorenzo Rollhauser also won their matches in straight sets, while Theo Jener won his in three sets, eventually prevailing by a line of 6-3, 2-6, 10-5.

Vs. Cedarville
 Parker Banning made his spring season debut against Cedarville and picked up two wins, including a 6-0 doubles win with fellow freshman Jayman Jhattu and a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Philip Brumbaugh at the No. 5 spot in the lineup.

Noah Connaughton also made his spring debut versus the Yellow Jackets and delivered with an impressive 6-1, 6-3 victory in No. 6 singles.

All six players won their matchup in straight sets and secured a third consecutive 7-0 win for the Flyers.
