#UDBASE Drops Game To No. 5 Arkansas, 11-0

Fifth-Ranked Razorbacks Get The Best Of Flyers In Midweek Series

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell to No. 5 Arkansas by a score of 11-0 to conclude the midweek series against the Razorbacks. The Flyers drop to 1-7 this season, while the Razorbacks are now 7-2 overall.

KEY MOMENT
Dayton got two runners on base in both the first and second innings, but were unable to capitalize on the early scoring opportunities and produce any runs, which proved costly as the Flyers were stymied by Arkansas reliever Bryce Bonnin, who came in at the beginning of the third inning and pitched 5.0 innings without allowing a hit and yielding just one walk, as the Razorbacks built up a 9-0 lead during that timeframe.
