LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team was defeated by No. 24/22 Kentucky, 4-1, Thursday evening at UK's John Cropp Stadium. Junior

Ellie Ziegler was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Kentucky would get out of the inning with no further damage in front 4-1, which would prove to be the final score.
