The University of Dayton women's tennis team is set to host two opponents this weekend at the Five Seasons Sports Complex. Ball State will come to Dayton to take on the Flyers on Friday, March 16, while Dayton and Xavier will square off on Sunday, March 18. The two matches are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively.

Dayton is 11-6 this season and had won six consecutive matches before falling to No. 19 Ohio State by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. The Flyers are led by a trio of seniors, including Marlys Bridgham, who has played all but one of Dayton's matches at the No. 1 spot in the lineup and Jackie and Jade Kawamoto. Jade ranks first on the team with 14 singles wins this season and Jackie won her match versus the ranked Buckeyes on Tuesday to give the Flyers their lone point of the match.

The Flyers will have two weekends off following Sunday's match against the Musketeers. Dayton's next match is scheduled for April 6 against Eastern Michigan.
