SCORING BREAKDOWN
Michigan got its bats working early, plating a single run in the first inning and the Wolverines were able to score another in the third on a Flyer throwing error. Dayton threatened in the fourth with a runner on second with two outs but a crafty Michigan third baseman snagged a hard-hit line drive by junior
Lisa Tassi to end the half inning. The Flyers had a runner at third in the fifth but were not able to convert. Michigan tacked on three in the fifth and two more in the six to get to its final margin of 7-0.
