SCORING BREAKDOWN
Game One: Dayton 9, St. Bonaventure 0 (5)
The first three innings were a stalemate as neither team could plate a run but Dayton got on the board in the fourth when sophomore Ellie Ziegler singled in junior Lisa Tassi for a 1-0 lead. The Flyers exploded for eight runs on eight hits in the fifth to set the score at 9-0, which proved to be the final margin. The highlight of the final frame was a three-run long ball to left center by Tassi, her second home run of the season.
Winning pitcher: Manda Cash (4-5)
Losing pitcher: Hehir (5-5)

Game Two: Dayton 8, St. Bonaventure 4
Dayton again scored first in the second game when senior Kailee Budicin's RBI double plated Davidson and freshman Briley Sidor, running for Budicin, scored on a Tassi single in the opening frame. The score remained 2-0 in favor of Dayton until the third when both teams plated one run and Dayton added one more in the fifth on a Budicin sacrifice fly out to put the Flyers in front of the Bonnies, 4-1. St. Bonaventure put up a three-spot in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at four runs apiece but freshman Abby Ehrenborg tallied what proved to be the winning RBI with a sacrifice fly out that allowed Ziegler to cross home plate. Dayton added three insurance runs in the seventh, including a two-run homer by Ziegler, the first four-bagger of her career.
Winning pitcher: Cash (5-5)
Losing pitcher: Hehir (5-6)
