#UDBASE Drops Series Finale To George Washington

Flyers Will Host Fort Wayne On Tuesday At 3 P.M. For Their Next Game

The University of Dayton baseball team fell to George Washington in the series finale on Sunday by a score of 17-2. The Flyers are now 7-15 overall with a 1-2 mark in the Atlantic 10, while the Colonials improve to 15-12 overall and 5-1 in conference.

KEY MOMENT
George Washington busted the game open in the top of the fourth. The Colonials' lead stood at just 2-1 entering the fourth, but Mark Osis opened the inning with a walk and two of the next three batters hit doubles to extend the lead to 4-1. Colin Brophy drew a two-out walk at the plate and Isaiah Pasteur followed with a three-run home run the next at-bat. The Colonials tacked on two additional runs to bring the score to 9-1 before heading into the bottom half of the inning.
