Haberstich was then brought home with a RBI-single from Tassi to set the score at 2-0 in favor of Dayton. The score remained unchanged through the top of the seventh when junior Kelly Fitzgerald scurried home on a Hawk wild pitch as the Flyers claimed the 3-0 win.
