The Atlantic 10 Conference released the seeding for this week's A-10 Tennis Championships and the Dayton women's tennis team earned the seventh seed and will face No. 10 George Mason at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals to match up with No. 2 seed George Washington.

Dayton had three different players recognized as Atlantic 10 Player of the Week this season, including senior Marlys Bridgham, junior Mattea Kilstofte and senior Jackie Kawamoto. Freshman Kelly Pleiman was also recognized by the conference on Feb. 28 as the Rookie of the Week. Jade Kawamoto picked up the most wins this season on the team with a 17-7 record, including an 8-5 mark at No. 3 singles. The Kawamoto twins also posted an impressive 15-2 record in doubles this season.

The Flyers earned the No. 6 seed last season, the team's highest seeding in history, but were upset by No. 11 Rhode Island in the first round.

The Atlantic 10 Championships will take place from April 25-29 at the USTA National Campus. Visit the Atlantic 10's official tennis website for more information HERE.
