DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team scored three unanswered goals to come from behind to defeat Akron 3-2 Friday night at Baujan Field.Â
Dayton improves to 4-2-0, while Akron drops to 2-3-1 overall.Â

• Dayton outshot Akron 16-7. Although, of the Zips' seven shots, six of those were on goal.Â
• The Flyers scored in the first half for the first time this season.Â

Kaelyn Johns had four saves in goal for the Flyers. One of Akron's goals was scored on a penalty kick.Â

• After falling behind 2-0 in the 14th minute, the Flyers answered with two goals to even it up at the half. Junior
Micayla Livingston scored UD's first goal in the 21st minute. Senior
Nadia Pestell made a run down the sideline and crossed the ball into the box. Senior
Quincy Kellett flicked it on and Livingston was there to finish it. Freshman
Izzy Greene scored the equalizer in the 33rd minute. Kellett deflected a pass off a defender and Greene dribbled past the keeper and shot into the open net.Â
• Livingston scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 69th minute and it proved to be the game winner. Pestell and freshman Magalie Dépôt each had an assist on the game winner.Â
