PITTSBURGH - The University of Dayton volleyball team closed out the Panther Invitational with a sweep of Kennesaw State, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-23), Saturday afternoon at Pitt's Fitzgerald Field House. Freshman Alli Papesh led the Flyers with 11 kills while swinging at a .409 clip.

Dayton improves to 6-4 overall while Kennesaw State moves to 6-2.

• .462 - as a team, Dayton hit .462 in the third set to close out the sweep of Kennesaw State. The Flyers tallied 15 kills to three errors in 26 attempts

Dayton will return home next weekend for its annual Flyer Invitational Sept. 14-15. UD will host Evansville, Ohio State and Tennessee over the two-day event at Frericks Center. Admission will be free.
