THE NEARLY-TRANSFORMED UD ARENA
The University of Dayton is past the halfway point of a $72 million renovation of its Arena. The transformation of University of Dayton Arena will occur in three phases – from 2017 to 2019.
Phase II included new entrances on three of the four sides, a new box office, new seats in the 300 and 400 levels on the east side and a new and expanded concourse on the east side.

#TRENDING
•    Through games of Jan. 29, Obi Toppin leads the nation in field goal percentage.  Toppin is shooting .692 (119-172) for the year, and is a red-hot .800 (28-35) over his last four games.
•    Josh Cunningham is 12th in FG% (.641, 109-170).   No other school has two in the top 15, and only one other team (Gonzaga) has two in the top 30.
•    Dayton is fifth in the NCAA (behind Gonzaga, Tennessee, South Dakota State and Creighton) and leads the Atlantic 10 in FG% (.503, 592-1178).
•    Toppin had career highs in points (25) and rebounds (12) in Tuesday's 75-64 win over St. Joe's.  Ryan Mikesell matched his career-best 21 points for the second time in three games.
•    Toppin has 21 rebounds in the last two games.  He had 15 in the previous four contests.
•    Jalen Crutcher leads the A-10 in assists (6.0) and is the only player in the A-10's top ten in assists, assist-to-turnover ratio (2nd, 2.4) 3-pt. FG per game (3rd, 2.3),,  3-pt. FG% (6th, .380, 49-129) and minutes played (7th, 35.9).
•    Trey Landers leads UD in rebounding (6.9).  He is fourth in the A-10, and as a 6-foot-5 guard, is the shortest member of the A-10 Top Five.
•    Ryan Mikesell leads UD in +/- this season (+7.71).  In the last five games, Mikesell has scored 68 points (13.6 avg.), while shooting .575 (23-40) FG and .824 (14-17) FT.  He had scored 38 total points (5.6 avg.) in his previous seven games.
•    The Flyers' 14 wins matched last year's win total before Feb. 1.
•    The Final Five Dayton's home games have been declared sellouts.  That gives the Flyers eight for the season, tying the UD Arena record.  The Arena had eight in the 1969-70, the first season Dayton basketball moved across the Great Miami River.
