Izzy Greene scored her first goal of the season and senior
Emily Jones earned her first start and had a career-high seven saves as the University of Dayton women's soccer team earned a hard-fought point in Atlantic 10 play with a 1-1 tie on the road at Massachusetts.
The Flyers are now 5-6-3 overall and 3-1-2 in A-10 play. The Minutewomen are 6-4-3 overall and 3-2-1 in conference matches.

KEY STATS
•  UMass held the advantage on shots 17-12, however Dayton led in the cornerkicks category, 10-6. Â
•  There were 25 combined fouls – Dayton with 13 and Massachusetts with 12. The Minutewomen also were served one yellow card.
•  Jones had seven saves in goal for the Flyers.
KEY MOMENTS
• The first goal of the match came in the 72nd minute. After UMass nearly scored a goal of its own,
Lexy Kidd cleared the ball from the ball and found
Alexis Goins. Goins sent a through ball to Greene who fought off a defender and then beat the keeper.
• Melissa Kössler scored her league-leading 11th goal of the season in the 86th minute, finding the back of the net in a scrum following a UMass cornerkick.
• Jones had a key save in the 90th minute on a header by Kössler to send the match to OT.
