DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team (6-7-3, 4-2-2 A-10) closes out the regular season with a home match vs. Fordham Thursday and a road match at La Salle Sunday. UD recently had four-match unbeaten streak snapped with a 1-0 loss at VCU. The Flyers are currently fifth in the Atlantic 10 standings. The streak included a 1-0 road win at St. Bonaventure, a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Davidson on the Flyers' senior day, a 1-1 tie at UMass, and a 2-1 overtime win over Duquesne.
• The Flyers host Fordham (4-9-4, 3-3-2 A-10) this Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Baujan Field. The Rams are in sixth place, right behind Dayton, in the A-10 standings.
• UD closes out the regular season at La Salle (9-6-1, 5-3-0 A-10) on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. The Explorers are currently fourth, one space ahead of the Flyers.
• The matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

• The Flyers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Eastern Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 15 to close out non-conference play.
• UD opened Atlantic 10 play with a 2-0 shutout over George Mason at Baujan on Sept. 22. The Flyers followed that with a 0-0 tie vs. Rhode Island at home. The three-match shutout streak was ended by a 4-1 loss at Saint Louis.

Emily Jones earned her first collegiate start vs. UMass. She had seven saves in the match. She also earned the start vs. Duquesne and VCU. She is 2-1-1 in goal for Dayton with 18 saves and a .67 GAA.
SCOUTING FORDHAM
• Fordham is 4-9-4 overall and 3-3-2 in A-10 play, currently sixth place in the conference standings.
• The Rams have had eight matches go into OT (4) and 2OT (4), including five of their eight A-10 matches.
• Fordham is 2-7-2 in road matches this season.
• Five different Rams have scored two goals to lead Fordham.
• Fordham has scored 12 goals as a team and allowed 28 goals by opponents.
• Kelly LaMorte has played every minute in goal for the Rams. She has 87 saves and a 1.55 GAA.
SCOUTING LA SALLE
• La Salle is 9-6-1 overall and 5-3-0 in A-10 play, currently in fourth place.
• The Explorers are 5-2-0 in home matches this season.
• They are led by Maci Bower with seven goals. Amirah Louketis is second with five goals.
• Leah Giles leads La Salle in assists with four.
• Claudia Jenkins has seen action in all 16 matches in goal for La Salle. She has 82 saves and a 1.29 GAA.
UP NEXT
• The Flyers are vying for a spot in the 2019 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Championship in which the top eight teams will compete. The opening rounds will be held on the campus of the higher seeds on Nov. 2 and 3. The top four teams will then advance to play at Saint Louis' Hermann Stadium in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 8. The championship final will be held on Sunday, Nov. 10 with the winner earning the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. All rounds of the championship will be streamed on ESPN+.
