NASHVILLE --
The University of Dayton men's tennis team wrapped up the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon and a pair of Flyers closed out the fall season on a high note. After winning their opening round of the singles back draw yesterday, Steven Karl and Matt DeMarco continued their strong play with another set of wins on Saturday, both coming against opponents from rival Xavier, before ultimately withdrawing from tournament. Karl defeated Matthew Graft by a score of 6-1, 6-4 and DeMarco also scored a straight-set win by a 7-6 (1), 6-3 margin. Freshman Georgi Mavrodiev was Dayton's only loss of the day, as Mavrodiev fell in two tight sets by scores of 7-5 and 7-6 (3).

With the fall season now completed, the Flyers will now wait to compete until dual match season begins in January. UD is coming off a 16-8 season in 2019, which saw them reach the Atlantic 10
