DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team recorded its 10th-consecutive win with a sweep of George Mason. The Flyers picked up the 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-14) win over the Patriots Sunday afternoon at Frericks Center.

Dayton is now 16-6 overall and 9-0 in Atlantic 10 while George Mason moves to 4-17 on the season and 0-9 in league action.

KEY STATS
• 16 - sophomore Jamie Peterson led all attackers with 16 kills. She also tallied a career-high eight blocks and served up four aces in the match
• .462 - sophomore Alli Papesh was swinging at .462 with seven kills to one error on 13 attempts
• 16 - junior Bridget Doherty set a match-high 16 assists
• 7 - freshman Mikaylah Van Lanen was the team's leading passer with seven digs.

UP NEXT
Dayton will step out of A-10 play with a mid-week match-up at Cincinnati on Wednesday. First serve between the Flyers and Bearcars is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at UC's Fifth Third Arena.
