Men’s Basketball Hosts Cedarville Saturday In Exhibition Action

Flyers’ First Collegiate Foe Makes Its First Visit To UD Arena

DAYTON – The University of Dayton Flyers host the Cedarville Yellowjackets men's basketball exhibition action on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Game time is 5 p.m. ET.  Doors open at 3 p.m. ET.

Dayton and Cedarville have played 28 times in men's basketball competition games, with the last meeting during the 1949-50 season.  Cedarville is also believed to be the first intercollegiate opponent in Dayton basketball history.  The two schools first played a men's basketball game in the final contest of the 1904-05 season.

The game will be carried by WHIO Radio.  Live streaming audio and stats will be available at DaytonFlyers.com.

THE TRANSFORMED UD ARENA
The University of Dayton is wrapping up a $76.2 million renovation of its Arena. The transformation of University of Dayton Arena occurred in three phases – from 2017 to 2019 – and is being completed in time for UD Arena's 50th anniversary season.
The Arena is an iconic community resource with an economic impact of upwards of $10 million annually. In addition to Flyer men's and women's basketball games, high school tournament games and the NCAA First Four, it is used for competitions such as the Winter Guard International World Championships, entertainment events, large-scale educational seminars and as a staging area for community projects.
UD Arena has been the site of 125 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament games, 48 more than any other tournament host.
